Methodology

Anticipated future cash flows of a company or its assets are projected, and assumptions are made based on these projections. These assumptions are then applied to the income statement, balance sheet and capital. Proprietary discounted cash flow (DCF) models are then built to facilitate an in-depth analysis of a company's competitive advantage, value, risk and management.

Performance

Time-weighted rate of return (pre-tax): We measure our investment performance over the specified time period (which can be viewed on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis). This reflects the growth and income generated by our investments, minus the fees incurred. However, it does not reflect the impact of cash flows, such as deposits and withdrawals. Please refer to the important disclosures for further information on our methodology.

Past performance, both before and after tax, does not guarantee future results, and the current performance may differ from the quoted data. Investment returns and capital will fluctuate with market and economic conditions and may result in a gain or loss upon sale of the assets.
